Your Session Cookie Is Invalid. Please Login Again. Cpanel

  1. CPanel/WHM Password Change - Invalid Session Cookie

Our web ambassador is out of the office right at present and due to some urgent matters, I needed to work inside our CPanel/WHM. The credentials we have stored seemed to be incorrect so using the instructions I found on their forums, I connected to the car via SSH and changed the system'due south root countersign using "passwd" to what we had stored.

Now when I attempt to log into the WHM installation, it says that it was successful but then redirects me back to "Your session cookie is invalid. Delight log in again.". I have since tried from a number of browsers (to ensure it wasn't the cache) so tried from our Leap Host and further more than other desktops entirely. I continue to accept this problem regardless so it doesn't seem to exist local to me but rather something with the web-server.

Does anyone take any clue how I tin can gear up this?

  2. It certainly looks like a browser problem, but on a safety end, it would be good if you can try restart Cpanel services in the server aswell.

This seems to be contradictory. Every bit you lot are already having root countersign then why you haven't used to login via whm ? In cpanel the root password is used to login in WHM. Are you using ssh key hallmark to admission server ?

The mistake y'all take updated is related to browser

  5. Since you are already in server via ssh try restarting Apache service and cpanel service and and so effort to login using a fresh try like https://ip:2087/ (May exist try clearing browser cache and cookies) and employ the new password. Yous should be able to login without whatsoever issues after this

You lot tin likewise check how your WHM handles IP based Cooikes. You tin can disable it using WHM >> Tweak Settings >> Cookie IP Validation. Select the disabled radio button in that location and save.
